Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked people for the good wishes received from across the country on his 76th birthday. Praising the special campaign 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' launched by BJP, he said that it is a message of love and affection, which has overwhelmed him even more.
Responding to a special song released on his birthday, Prime Minister Modi said that the blessings he has received will further strengthen his resolve to serve the country. The song 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' sung by singer Sneha Shankar and artist Aman Pant has been dedicated to Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of his birthday and completion of 25 years of his leadership journey in public life.
What is BJP's 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' campaign?
BJP has appealed to people across the country to light lamps in their homes to wish Prime Minister Modi on September 17. Prime Minister Modi started his public life as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 and was elected Prime Minister of India in 2014. This special event is being organized on the occasion of completion of 25 years of his public service.
BJP National President Nitin Naveen has also appealed to the citizens to participate in this campaign and has made a humble appeal that everyone should light the 'Diya of Blessings' in their homes between 6 pm to 7 pm on the birthday of Prime Minister Modi.
