India Food Expo-2026 11th edition: Strength of food sector will be visible in Lucknow, expected Rs 1000 crore business

Lucknow, Read: India Food Expo-2026 will be organized in the city from September 18 to 20 to promote food processing and related industries. This expo of the Indian Industries Association (IIA) will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on September 18 at 10 am. Minister of State (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun will also be present in the inaugural program to be held at Regalia Greens, 1090 Crossing, Gomtinagar.

IIA Expo Chairman Vikas Khanna said that this time, apart from the state, entrepreneurs and businessmen from about eight states including Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal will participate in the expo. More than 130 stalls will be set up, out of which 100 stalls will be from Uttar Pradesh.

MSME entrepreneurs are expected to get a business opportunity of Rs 750 to 1000 crore. The objective of the expo is not to make profits but to connect entrepreneurs with machinery, raw materials, experts and government schemes. Apart from this, there will also be special emphasis on introducing the youth and new generation to the possibilities of food processing and related industries.

Focus on the entire process from farming to market

The aim of this expo, which is going to be held on the theme of 'Farm to Fork', is to bring together entrepreneurs and businessmen involved in the entire process from farming to the market of food products. Here, information related to machinery, raw materials, packaging, government subsidies and banking facilities will be made available at one place. IIA Treasurer Awadhesh Aggarwal said that the expo organized in Lucknow in January 2026 had received a good response from the businessmen. After this, on the demand of entrepreneurs, the event is being organized again in September.

There will be technical and informative sessions for three days

After the inauguration on September 18, there will be a technical session on financial facilities and government schemes. After this there will be a panel discussion on the topic 'Idea to Scale'. On 19th September there will be a session on Franchise Model and Successful Franchising with World Class Food Processing Facility. Food Safety Training and Certification (FOSTAC) will also be held on the same day. There will be a Branding Master Class on the topic 'Build Your Brand, Build Mega Profits' by Dr. Sanjay Arora on 20th September. The closing ceremony will take place in the evening.
