Patna.There is relief news for the landless families of Bihar. The government has instructed such eligible beneficiaries to simplify the application process under 'Abhiyan Basera'. Now landless people will not need to come to the state headquarters to submit applications. They will be able to submit applications in their respective zonal office.
Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Jai Singh directed the officials to provide correct information about the application process to the landless beneficiaries, so that they do not face any kind of problem. Officials have also been asked to ensure that eligible people do not have to wander unnecessarily.
The government has made it clear that if any beneficiary is misled by giving wrong information, then legal action will be taken in the matter as per rules. In such a situation, landless families can contact their respective zonal office and get information about the application process.
This initiative is expected to provide relief especially to those families who had to visit distant government offices for land related work. Providing the facility of application at the local level can make the process more easy and convenient.
