As demand for premium and adventure bikes continues to grow in the Indian motorcycle market, Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to expand into this segment with its upcoming models. The company’s upcoming bikes are revealed to include a sports bike, a larger adventure bike, a dual-sport model and an electric motorcycle. Some of these models are close to launch, while others are yet to be confirmed.

Hero Charisma XMR 250

Hero’s Karizma XMR 250 is one of the most likely to be launched among the upcoming models. This bike has been showcased in India and the production ready model has also been seen. It is likely to get the same 249 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Extreme 250R. This engine can produce around 30 hp of power and 25 Nm of torque. Expected features include 6-speed gearbox, USD front forks, monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS and TFT display. This bike can cost more than ₹2 lakh.

Hero XPulse 421

Hero Xpulse 421 is likely to be the big adventure bike of the company. The model is being tested at various locations and reports say that its development is at an advanced stage. The bike may get a new platform and a liquid-cooled engine of around 421 cc capacity. Features like long-travel suspension, trellis frame, large TFT display, riding modes and cruise control are expected. The global debut is likely to happen at EICMA 2026, while the India launch could happen in late 2026 or early 2027. This bike can compete with models like Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

A new dual-sport and electric bike

Hero has filed a design patent for a small capacity dual-sport bike in India. This model features an air-cooled engine, kick-starter and conventional hardware. The engine capacity is estimated to be between 150 and 200 cc. But it cannot be said that the patent has been filed, which means that the launch in India is certain. This bike can also be developed for the export market.

Apart from this, Hero is also rumored to be working on ‘Splendor Electric’. The bike is expected to arrive around 2027. The company is yet to announce its official price, range or launch date. So, we have to wait for the official information about these models of Hero in the coming time.
