Leaving water in the drain is the biggest mistake
- Cockroaches can live for a month without food, but die in just 7-8 days without water. Keep the sink drain completely dry at night. Remove grease with hot water or cleaning solution and cover the drain. If water is not available the insects will die on their own.

not cleaning grease from behind the stove
- While cooking, oil and small food particles accumulate at the back of the stove. This becomes the favorite food of cockroaches. Keep this area thoroughly clean every time you cook. There is no shelter for insects in a clean place.

cardboard box in kitchen
- Do not keep cardboard boxes from online delivery in the kitchen. The glue and holes in these become homes for cockroaches. They lay eggs inside and live hidden. Throw out or recycle cans immediately.

misplacing sticky pad
- Sticky traps only work when placed in the right place. Place inside drawers, under the fridge and under the sink. By applying it where insects are most likely to come, more and more cockroaches are trapped.

Use gel bites instead of spray
- The spray only drives away the visible insects, but does not kill the hidden ones. Stick small gel bites here and there. Cockroaches eat them and the entire colony is destroyed. This method is more effective.

applying home remedies incorrectly
- Do not sprinkle boric powder or other home remedies in a very thick layer. Insects can walk on the thick layer and get out. Spread a very thin and fine layer so that they lick and die. The eradication will be completed only if the right method is adopted.
