In a recent interview, Soni Razdan told that she does not confine herself to any one type of character.
In an interview with PTI, Soni Razdan said that as an actor, she tries to play every role with equal energy and enthusiasm. According to her, every character demands different things from the artiste and she adapts herself accordingly. He said that there is no filter or box in his mind in which he limits himself to a particular type of character. During this conversation, Soni Razdan also gave the example of 'Panchayat' series to explain his point in a humorous manner. She said that if she is cast in 'Panchayat' tomorrow, she can fit herself in that character also. She jokingly said that if needed, she would even wear the sarees seen in that series and prove with her acting that she can play that role.
According to the actress, the most important thing for an actor is to prepare himself for different characters. For him, before playing a role, it is not necessary to think about how different that character is from his previous work. She looks at every new role as a new challenge and prepares accordingly. Soni Razdan also credits her theater experience for this ability. He told that in the initial phase of his career he worked in theater and got a chance to work with famous theater director Satyadev Dubey. During his time in theatre, he played many types of characters. He believes that his ability to adapt to different roles developed from there.
Recently Soni Razdan has been seen in the film 'Om Ka Hari'. Raghubir Yadav and Anshuman Jha have also appeared with him in this film directed by Harish Vyas. The story of the film revolves around the relationship between Hariprasad Sharma and his son Om Prasad Sharma. In the film, Soni Razdan plays the character of Saroj, who is Hariprasad's wife and Om's mother. In the story, she is seen trying to handle the strained relationship between father and son and create harmony between the two. The film is released in theaters on 18 September 2026.
