Kanpur. Monthly meeting and post distribution program of Ward 91 Shastri Nagar was organized on Sunday at Naveen Market Parade, Municipal Office of Samajwadi Party Kanpur Metropolitan. The program was conducted under the leadership of Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood, while it was coordinated by State Secretary Lohia Vahini Brajlal Yadav.
In the meeting, emphasis was laid on strengthening the organization up to the booth level and adding new workers to the party. During this, the newly appointed officials were handed over their responsibilities and they were called upon to discharge the responsibilities of the organization sincerely.
Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood, while addressing the workers, said that it is necessary to increase activism at the booth level to strengthen the party organization. He said that the workers should contact every home to understand the problems of the people and participate in their happiness and sorrow.
While raising questions on the policies of BJP, he raised the issue of PDA and social justice prominently. He said that strongly raising the voice of rights and respect of Dalit, backward and minority society is among the priorities of Samajwadi Party.
Raising the issue of roads and basic facilities of Kanpur, Mehmood said that despite claims of development in the city, the general public is facing many problems. He said sarcastically, “There are no potholes on the roads in Kanpur, but Kanpur has become full of potholes.” He demanded serious attention to the works related to roads and civic facilities.
In the meeting, a message was also given to the workers to start organizational preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. The metropolitan president stressed on strengthening the booths, running door-to-door contact campaigns and connecting more and more people with the organization.
A large number of workers and officials including Senior Vice President Shailendra Yadav 'Mintu', Ishrat Iraqi, Akash Yadav, Manoj Chaurasia Arya, Akil Ahmed, Brijesh Yadav, Arvind Yadav, Vansh Saini, Guddu Yadav, Amit Gupta, Sachin Yadav, Roshan Gupta, Rajesh Kumar, Anshu, Vishal Yadav, Sumit Singh, Surajbhan Singh, Satish Vishwakarma were present in the program.
