The 9th World Championship will be held in Italy. For this, National Carrom Selection has been organized in Delhi and Maharashtra team is ready for this.
Harkishan Singh Surjit Bhavan, New Delhi will conduct the National Selection Test from 27th to 29th September. The Indian team will be determined from this selection test. On this occasion, carrom players from all over the country will reach New Delhi and the best player will get the honor of playing in the championship held in Italy. Also, Maharashtra Carrom Association has selected its team based on its performance in the last 12 months.
Five day training camp
The team will leave for Delhi on September 26. For the preparation of this team, a 5-day training camp will be conducted from 21st to 25th September at MCA Training Centre, Dadar.

Use of potato starch powder in competition
Potato starch powder will be used for the first time in the selection test competition to be held in Delhi. Potato starch powder will be used during training so that the Maharashtra team players get used to it. On this occasion, the campers will get the guidance of senior international carrom player and national coach Arun Kedar.
