No UPI Day October 2: Merchants across the country are protesting against the government imposing merchant charges on UPI payments. According to the information, on October 2 i.e. Gandhi Jayanti, business organizations will together celebrate No You PI Day. On this day, merchants will take cash payment from customers instead of taking money through UPI. There is some concern among customers about how they will make the payment.
Gandhi Jayanti will be a government holiday on 2nd October. On this day people will go to shops, malls and markets etc. for shopping. 1. Debit or Credit Card
If No UPI Day is celebrated in the country, then you can make payment through debit or credit card instead of UPI. In such a situation, you can get your card swiped for whatever goods you are buying. For this, shopkeepers have Point of Sale (PoS) machines, on which they can make instant payment by swiping or tapping their Visa, Mastercard or RuPay debit or credit card.
2. NEFT
National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) will also be an option for making payment. However, people generally use it for large payments. But, it can be a convenient and economical option to make payment from one bank account to another.

If you do not have the option of UPI to make payment, then you can also make payment to the shopkeeper through cheque. You can make a secure payment through cheque. Any shopkeeper will easily take the check from you. If you have no other option on No UPI Day, then you can make payment by cheque.
4. Net Banking
If you want, you can also make payment through net banking. If you have to make a big payment, you can log in to your bank’s official mobile app or net banking portal and transfer the money in real-time through IMPS with the help of the merchant’s bank account and IFSC code.
