TVS Motor has recorded a good performance in the Indian market in August 2026. The company's domestic sales reached 4,33,796 units, up 17.60% from 3,68,862 units in August 2025. That means the company sold 64,934 additional vehicles in a year. But compared to July, overall sales have slightly declined.
Jupiter's lead continues
Jupiter remained the largest contributor to TVS's overall sales. Jupiter sold 1,47,450 units in August. 1,42,411 units were sold in the same month last year, marking a year-on-year growth of 3.54%. 1,48,595 units were sold in July. Hence, a month-on-month decrease of 0.77% was observed.

Apache and XL also perform well
Sales of the Apache range reached 55,123 units, a year-on-year growth of 22.39%. Sales of premium Apache RTX and 310 models stood at 1,925 units, up 117.76% from last year. TVS XL sold 45,936 units registering a year-on-year growth of 4.67%.
iCube's big leap into electric scooters
The iCube sold 42,882 units making it one of the fastest growing models in annual sales. This growth is 75.50% compared to last year's 24,434 units. Along with this Orbiter electric scooter added 14,641 units. The combined sales of both the electric scooters stood at 57,523 units.

Strong performances from Ryder and Ronin as well
Rider sales stood at 37,002 units, up 10.67% year-on-year and up 8.43% from July. Ntorque 125 and Ntorque 150 together sold 40,256 units. Ronin also registered a year-on-year growth of 76.34% with 11,679 units. Hence, the sales are expected to be further boosted by the new updated models of TVS in the coming years.
