This detailed walkaround video of the Tata Aeris Pure Plus variant has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that the new Aeris starts at Rs 5.99 lakh. However, the introductory price of this sedan is Rs 5.29 lakh for the base Smart variant. Following this, he mentions that this particular variant is the Pure Plus variant, which sits in the middle of the lineup.
As for the price, this variant with the petrol manual configuration is priced at Rs 6.74 lakh, and with the AMT gearbox, its price goes up to Rs 7.29 lakh. This particular variant also comes with the CNG kit as well. The price of the CNG with manual gearbox is Rs 7.74 lakh, and with the AMT gearbox, it is Rs 8.29 lakh. He highlights that, according to him, this is the most value for money in the new Aeris’ lineup as it offers a mix of essential and premium features.
After talking about the pricing, the vlogger starts showing the exterior design of the newly launched Aeris. He mentions that the Aeris brings a fresh design and now looks a lot more premium than the Tigor, which it has replaced. This particular variant at the front gets sleek, halogen-based headlights, a gloss black closed-off grille, a new front bumper with C-shaped elements, and matt black detailing. He adds that this variant does not get fog lights.
Following the front, the vlogger then opens the bonnet of the Aeris to show its engine. He mentions that the Aeris comes offered with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine which makes 83 PS and 113 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, in the CNG guise, this same engine makes 76 PS and 97 Nm of torque. The vlogger adds that the Pure Plus variant gets both manual and AMT gearbox options.
Next up, the presenter then shows the side profile of this sedan. The overall silhouette of the Aeris is the same as the Tigor. However, it now gets new 15-inch stylized steel wheels with full covers that give it the appearance of alloy wheels. Apart from these, it gets a new Aeris badge on the front doors and new recycled plastic claddings around the wheel arches.
Finally, he moves to the rear of the Aeris. He mentions that the sedan gets a set of new LED taillights. The higher variants get a connecting light bar element. However, this particular variant misses out on it. Apart from these, the sedan also gets a new rear bumper, shark fin antenna, rear parking sensors, and other minor updates.
Before showing the interior, the vlogger opens the boot of the Aeris and highlights that it gets a bigger boot than the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The Aeris offers a 419-litre boot, while the Dzire offers a 382-litre boot. He adds the Aeris also gets external struts which help in saving space inside the boot while opening and closing. Next, he shows the cabin of the sedan.
This particular variant comes offered with a beige and light brown fabric upholstery interior which gives it a premium appeal. It also gets features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four speakers, a digital instrument gauge cluster, tyre pressure monitoring, all four power windows, electronically adjustable ORVMs, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, and a manual air conditioning system. Overall, it is one of the most value for money variants in the lineup.
