Ingredients to make Matar Mushroom Masala
Ghee 2 tbsp, cumin 1 tbsp, onion 2 medium sized, ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsp, green chilli 1 tbsp, turmeric powder ½ tsp, tomato puree ¾ cup, salt as per taste, roasted gram flour 1 tbsp, red chilli powder 1 tbsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp, green peas 1 cup, water 200 ml, mushroom 2 cups, garam masala 1 tsp spoon, kasoori methi 1 tsp, fresh cream 1 tbsp, fresh coriander 1 tbsp
Recipe for Matar Mushroom Masala

- First step: To make Matar Mushroom Masala, first heat ghee in a pan on medium flame, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. After that add onion and fry till it turns golden brown, then add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli and turmeric powder and cook for 1-2 minutes.

- Second step: After that, add tomato puree and salt as per taste, mix well and cook for a minute. Add gram flour, red chilli powder and coriander powder, mix well and cook until the masala leaves the ghee.

- third step: Now add green peas to it, mix well and cook for 8-10 minutes. If the masala seems too dry, add some water. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes, then add 200 ml water and bring to a boil. Add mushrooms and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Mix well.

- Fourth step: Cover and cook for 5-6 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garam masala, kasoori methi and fresh cream, mix well, garnish with green coriander and mushroom matar is ready to serve. Serve hot with roti, parantha or rice.
