Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal are leaving no stone unturned to promote their upcoming film Love And War. Vicky and Alia turned heads at Manish Malhotra’s Mijwan launch. After their stunning runway walk, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranbir Kapoor posed for the paparazzi.
However, Ranbir had a hard time with the paps and was seen getting angry at them.
The actors were seen posing outside a restaurant in Mumbai along with Bhansali. It so happened that SLB appeared to move away from the frame, allowing Ranbir, Alia and Vicky to pose together. However, Ranbir asked Bhansali to join them, and the director returned for the group photographs.
After the photo session wrapped up, the team began leaving. As Ranbir was walking away, a photographer could be heard repeatedly calling out to him and asking him to pose with Alia and Vicky. The actor then turned around and responded, “Bahot bol raha hai tu ha” (You are talking a lot).
Ranbir looked irritated and annoyed as he stepped towards his car. However, it is unclear what the paparazzi told Ranbir.
For the outing, Ranbir opted for an olive-green short kurta with black jeans, while Alia was seen in a yellow outfit. Vicky kept his look simple in a white shirt and black trousers.
Meanwhile, the promotional event for Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash starrer Ramayana in Mumbai was hit by a major delay on Saturday, September 26, with several media representatives walking out after waiting for around four hours.
The press event was scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm, but the programme was delayed for several hours. According to reports, the delay was linked to international content creator MrBeast missing a private flight and arriving late for the event.
Media walks out after four-hour delay
The prolonged wait and lack of clear updates from the organisers left several journalists frustrated. When media representatives questioned the delay, the publicity team reportedly told those who could not wait to leave.
After learning that some media personnel had already walked out, Ranbir Kapoor was heard saying, “Aap logon ko jana hai toh chale jao” (If you want to leave, you can leave).
The press session, which was initially expected to last around an hour, eventually lasted only about 10 minutes. No major announcement regarding the film was made during the brief interaction.
Namit Malhotra later apologises
Producer Namit Malhotra later apologised to the media over the delay. The incident came amid the launch of the promotional campaign for Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated Ramayana.
Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram
Ramayan stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, while Yash plays Ravana. The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation.
The first instalment is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release, with the second part planned for 2027.
The Mumbai event marked the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign, with the makers also showcasing Ranbir’s character and giving fans a glimpse of the ambitious project.
Meanwhile, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Love & War also stars Supriya Pathak in a key role. The film has been written by Bhansali and Ila Bedi Dutta.
