New Delhi: Political rhetoric regarding Special Intensive Revision of Voter Lists i.e. SIR has once again intensified. Union Minister JP Nadda on Monday targeted the Congress and its allies, alleging that despite the Election Commission responding to their claims, the opposition is trying to spoil the atmosphere of the country. Nadda said the opposition is now looking for new ways to spread “confusion and chaos”.
'Every lie has been exposed', Nadda accuses the opposition
Nadda told reporters here that the opposition 'Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance', frustrated and disappointed with the country's progress, is looking for new ways to spread “confusion and anarchy”.
The Union Minister said, “We all saw how a few days ago there was an uproar in the entire country over a fabricated story. Now when the Election Commission members have exposed every lie, they (opposition parties) are once again trying to spoil the atmosphere.'' Nadda alleged that defaming and weakening the autonomous and constitutional institutions of the country has become the sole agenda of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Nadda's direct advice to Rahul Gandhi
The BJP leader said, “He is neither concerned about national security, nor about public welfare, nor about the honor and dignity of the country.” Their only objective is to gain power and that too not for public service, but to promote dynastic politics and gain personal benefits.'' He said, ''Rahul Gandhi ji, listen carefully: repeating a lie a hundred times does not make it true.''
Nadda said that the people of the country have completely understood the double standards of the opposition and its negative politics. He said, “The public has taught a befitting lesson to the forces trying to create instability in the country in the past and will do the same in future also.”

Special Intensive Revision (SIR) There is a process of special intensive revision of voter list. The facility of searching voter list, submission of documents, new voter registration and other services under SIR-2026 has been provided on the official Voter Services website of the Election Commission.
