New Delhi. A cylinder blast took place inside a house in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The two-storey house completely collapsed due to the explosion of the cylinder. Four people have died in this incident while two others are injured. The condition of both the injured is said to be serious, they have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and started the work of searching and evacuating the people buried under the debris of the house. Local people also helped the administration in the rescue.

Fatehpur CMO Udaybhan Singh said that a total of 6 people were brought to the hospital, out of which four have died. Two are undergoing treatment. Taking cognizance of the incident, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed top officials to reach the spot and provide proper treatment to the injured. According to the information, a cylinder exploded in Suraj Gupta's house in Malwan town of the district. Many people were present inside the house when this incident happened. It is being told that the woman of the family was cooking food in the kitchen when the cylinder exploded. The explosion was so powerful that the two-storey house collapsed.

Hearing the sound of the explosion, people from the neighborhood immediately ran to the spot and started removing the debris. The reason behind the explosion in the cylinder is not known at present. There is a possibility that gas may be leaking from the cylinder and that is why it burst. At present, the work of removing the debris is going on so that it can be clear whether any other person is buried somewhere.
