Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister and Sports Minister Harsh Shanghvi has extended his full support to the 10th Adani Ahmedabad Marathon. The upcoming 10th edition of this prestigious marathon will be held this year on 29 November 2026. Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer, Adani Sportsline, presented the official jersey of this historic 10th edition to Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Shanghvi. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sanghvi lauded the #Run4OurSoldiers initiative and said that this marathon has been uniting citizens in honoring the courage, service and sacrifice of our armed forces for the last decade.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that while Ahmedabad is preparing to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, such sports events are playing an important role in promoting fitness, sports culture and community participation in the city. Recalling the valor of the Indian Army and the resolve of 'Operation Sindoor', he expressed the country's unwavering gratitude towards the soldiers. Adani Sportsline CBO Sanjay Adesara also expressed his gratitude for the support received in this journey and said that this event is a unique bridge between sports lovers and the guardians of the country.
This initiative of Adani Group started in November 2017 and due to its beauty and better management, it has also been included in the global marathon event list of 'AIMS World Running'. A large portion of the proceeds from this marathon are dedicated to the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces. Last year, the event attracted more than 24,000 participants, including more than 3,000 defense personnel. This time too, there is tremendous enthusiasm among sports lovers regarding the 10th edition.
