New Delhi, Read: A hair-raising incident has come to light from Greater Kailash-2 (Chittaranjan Park police station area), a posh area of the capital Delhi. Late night on 26th September, a case has come to light where a girl was entered into her house and assaulted, abused, tried to rape and threatened to kill her. After this incident, an emotional appeal video of the victim's mother is becoming increasingly viral on social media, which has raised serious questions on the working style of the police and administration.
What is the whole matter?
According to the victim's family, the incident occurred on September 26 at around 11:30 pm. It is alleged that a young man named Anmay Krishna reached the victim's house and an altercation took place between the two. After this the dispute escalated so much that the accused started misbehaving and scuffling with the girl.
The victim's mother has alleged in her video that the accused pulled her daughter's hair, dragged her towards the bathroom and threatened her with serious physical injuries as well as acid attack and rape. While leaving, the accused also took the girl's iPhone with him. It is being told that there was a rift between the two regarding some issue since July 2026.
'Police procrastination in front of VIP influence' – serious allegations of mother
Immediately after the incident, the family called 112 and informed the police. The victim's mother says that when they reached Chittaranjan Park (CR Park) police station to lodge a complaint, the attitude of the police was very disappointing.
The victim's mother claims that the accused Anmay Krishna is the son of a senior IAS officer posted in Jammu and Kashmir. It is alleged that due to the high-profile background of the accused and VIP pressure, the police were initially reluctant to register the case and there was delay in even giving them the receiving copy. Seeing justice not being provided, the mother shared the video on social media and pleaded for help.

After the matter gained prominence on social media, the local police swung into action. Police officials say that they have received a written complaint and all aspects related to the incident are being investigated. Police claim that the law is equal for all and appropriate legal action will be taken after the facts are confirmed.
