Technology Desk: Oppo has launched the new Reno 16T smartphone in its home market China. The phone has been launched with fashion focus design. Its most special thing is its 200MP OIS camera, large 6700mAh battery and compact 6.32-inch AMOLED display. The company has given MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset in it.
Equipped with 120Hz AMOLED display
Oppo Reno 16T has a 6.32-inch flexible AMOLED display. Its resolution is 2640×1216 pixels and refresh rate is 120Hz. The display supports 1.07 billion colors and its peak brightness is up to 1800 nits.
The phone has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which is expected to provide better touch response during scrolling and gaming.
Powerful processor and up to 16GB RAM
For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset has been provided in the phone. It is offered with 12GB and 16GB RAM options. Talking about storage, the phone has up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
200MP camera, 120x digital zoom
Camera setup is a big feature of Reno 16T. A 200MP primary camera is provided in the rear of the phone, which supports OIS. It comes with a 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP telephoto camera.
The telephoto camera supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. The phone has a 50MP autofocus front camera for selfies and video calling. The feature of dual-view video recording is also available in the phone.
6700mAh battery and 80W fast charging
For power, Oppo Reno 16T has a large battery of 6700mAh. It supports 80W SuperVOOC and 80W UFCS fast charging. That means the phone has been claimed to charge quickly and be used for a long time.
There will be a separate button for AI
A separate button is provided for AI features in the phone. For connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and NFC are available. Apart from this, in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and dual SIM support is also present. The phone has received IP68/IP69K rating, which has made it stronger in terms of protection from dust and water.
Price of Oppo Reno 16T
Oppo Reno 16T has been launched in China at a starting price of 3,699 Yuan for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, which comes to around Rs 52,819 in Indian currency.
Its 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant has also been introduced. The phone has been launched in Heartbeat, Galaxy Purple and Moonlight Black color options. At present, the company has not shared any information regarding the launch date and price of Oppo Reno 16T in India.
