Investment advisory startup StockGro pre-filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for an initial public offering (IPO) earlier this week. StockGro’s parent AssetGro Fintech Ltd announced that it has pre-filed DRHP with SEBI, BSE and NSE under the confidential pre-filing route on September 26.
As per a report by PTI, StockGro is looking to raise up to ₹2,000 Cr-₹2,500 Cr via the IPO, which could include a fresh issue of around ₹800 Cr and an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders. The final issue size and structure could also change during the IPO process.
Inc42 has reached out to StockGro seeking comments on its proposed listing plans. The story will be updated based on the company’s responses.
To note, the startup raised two equity funding rounds within a month in December last year. After raising ₹150 Cr from Param Capital founder Mukul Agrawal in a Series B round, the investment tech startup raised $13 Mn in its Series B1 funding round from existing investor BITKRAFT Ventures.
