New Delhi. Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has given recruitment opportunity for the players. ITBP has invited online applications for recruitment to a total of 126 posts of Constable (General Duty) Group-C under Sports Quota. Along with eligible Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and Bhutan can also apply for these posts.
126 vacancies in 28 sports
Posts have been earmarked for different sports by ITBP. These include 5 posts in athletics, 4 in aquatics, 5 in archery, 6 in badminton, 3 in basketball, 9 in boxing, 1 in horse riding, 2 in football and 6 in gymnastics.
Apart from this, there are 3 posts for Handball, 6 for Ice Hockey, 3 for Hockey, 12 for Judo, 3 for Kho-Kho, 4 for Penchak Silat and 1 for Powerlifting.
8 posts have been kept for Central Ski, 8 for Sports Shooting, 2 for Table Tennis, 7 for Taekwondo, 6 for Volleyball, 4 for Weightlifting and 5 for Wrestling. 3 posts of Canoeing, 3 of Kayaking, 1 of Rowing, 2 of MTB Cycling and 4 of Karate are also included in the recruitment.
Of these 126 vacancies, 72 posts are for male players and 54 posts are for female players.
Application will start from October 3
The online application process for these posts will start from October 3. Interested candidates will be able to apply online till November 1. Once the application link is activated, candidates can complete their registration within the stipulated period through the official website of ITBP.
Age should be between 18 to 21 years
The minimum age of the applying candidates has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 21 years. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee for male candidates of General, OBC and EWS categories has been fixed at Rs 100. At the same time, SC, ST and women candidates have been given exemption in application fee. Fees will have to be paid through online mode.
Salary will range from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100
Selected candidates will be given a salary between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month. Candidates should note that these vacancies are not for disabled persons and ex-servicemen.
