Who are the best players in La Liga right now? There are plenty of ways to answer that question, but Sorare’s detailed scoring system provides an interesting data-led approach.

Rather than simply looking at goals and assists, Sorare rewards a wide range of actions including passing, chance creation, tackles, interceptions, duels and clean sheets. That means defenders and deeper-lying midfielders can compete with the biggest attacking stars when it comes to overall scores.

For our main rankings, we’re using L10 scoreswhich measure each player’s average Sorare performance across their last 10 matches. That should give us a good indication of the players in the best form right now.

Best players in La Liga right now – Top 10 according to Sorare L10

10. Sergio Camello, Rayo Vallecano – 64

Sergio Camello rounds out the top 10 with an L10 score of 64. His form at the start of the 2026/27 season has been unexpected, given his failure to convert chances in previous campaigns.

Despite never previously scoring more than six goals in a full La Liga season, the Rayo Vallecano frontman has netted seven times in seven matches so far this term.

He has been one of a number of strikers at less-fancied teams to hit the ground running in the Spanish top flight this time around. Espanyol’s Roberto Fernandez and Racing’s Yassir Zabiri have also scored six times.

9. Pedri, Barcelona – 64

While goals and assists are often used to judge attacking midfielders, they only tell part of the story with Pedri. The Barcelona midfielder is regularly heavily involved in possession and contributes across numerous areas of Sorare’s scoring matrix. His current L10 score of 64 earns him ninth place in our ranking.

Pedri has long been one of the players who makes Barcelona tick in the middle of the park. His ability to influence games without necessarily providing the final pass or shot also makes Sorare’s more detailed scoring system a particularly good way of measuring his contribution.

8. Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid – 65

Kylian Mbappe is one of three Real Madrid players in the top eight, with the French forward currently posting an L10 score of 65.

Unlike some players in this list, Mbappe’s fantasy appeal is heavily linked to decisive actions. He remains one of the most dangerous forwards in world football and regularly gives himself opportunities to add goals and assists.

That gives him an enormous ceiling on Sorare. A prolific run in front of goal can quickly push Mbappe towards the very top of the rankings.

7. Iñigo Vicente, Racing Santander – 65

Iñigo Vicente is one of the more eye-catching names towards the top of this list. The Racing Santander attacker has carried his strong numbers into the top flight and currently boasts an L10 average of 65. That does account for three Segunda Division fixtures, but he has already assisted twice in La Liga and is averaging 2.4 key passes per game.

Vicente’s creative role helps him on Sorare. Players who see plenty of the ball in advanced areas and regularly create chances can generate strong scores without being totally reliant on goals.

6. Gerard Martin, Barcelona – 65

Gerard Martin’s development at Barcelona has also translated into some impressive Sorare numbers. The defender currently has an L10 score of 65, putting him ahead of plenty of much more established La Liga names.

Barcelona defenders can benefit considerably from the way Sorare scores all-around actions. Regular involvement in possession provides opportunities to accumulate points through passing and other contributions even when there is no clean sheet or decisive action. Martin has thrived since transitioning into a centre-back last season.

5. Pau Cubarsi, Barcelona – 67

Pau Cubarsi is another Barcelona defender who scores exceptionally well in Sorare’s system. His L10 average of 67 places him fifth in La Liga right now. Still only 19, Cubarsi is already remarkably comfortable taking responsibility in possession at the heart of the Barcelona and Spain defences.

One of the standout defenders at the 2026 World Cup, Cubarsi clearly has a very bright future. He looks certain to be a fixture for both club and country for many years to come.

4. Arda Guler, Real Madrid – 67

Arda Guler continues to establish himself as an increasingly important Real Madrid player. The Turkish international has always possessed the technical ability to make an impact in the final third and he has formed a strong understanding with Mbappe.

The 21-year-old set up the Frenchman on six occasions in La Liga 2025/26. No other two players combined for as many goals.

Guler can accumulate points through passing and chance creation as well as goals and assists. That broader involvement gives him more ways to produce strong scores than a forward who is almost totally reliant on decisive actions.

3. Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid – 70

Jude Bellingham is perhaps the clearest example in this list of a player who can score points in virtually every area. He can make decisive attacking contributions, but is also heavily involved in possession, wins duels and contributes defensively.

That all-around profile has made Bellingham an excellent player for club and country and he looks like a rejuvenated force following a brilliant World Cup. The 23-year-old scored seven times in eight appearances for the Three Lions in North America.

His current form is strong enough to put some distance between himself and the chasing pack, although the top two are operating at an even higher level.

2. Raphinha, Barcelona – 83

There is a significant jump to second place, where Raphinha currently boasts an outstanding L10 score of 83. The Brazilian has developed into one of Barcelona’s most important attacking players, offering both a consistent goal threat and considerable creative output.

His current figures largely relate to the former, given his transition into playing as the striker for Barca this season. The Brazilian has scored 14 goals in eight competitive outings for his club this term.

That sort of form may be unsustainable in the long run, but he already looks a complete natural in his new role, with his intense pressing a huge asset for Hansi Flick’s side.

1. Lamine Yamal, Barcelona – 86

Top spot goes to Lamine Yamal. The Barcelona winger has a remarkable L10 score of 86, comfortably the highest figure of any La Liga player in our latest update.

Lamine struggled to produce his best football in the middle of the year, but his goal contributions have increased massively in recent weeks. He is constantly involved in Barcelona’s attacking play, beats defenders, creates chances and fires in plenty of shots. That gives him numerous routes to a big score every time he takes to the pitch.

It is even more remarkable given he is still only 19. There is already little doubt about his status among the leading players in world football and, on current Sorare form, nobody in La Liga is matching him.

20 best La Liga players according to Sorare L40

While L10 is useful for assessing current form, it can fluctuate quite significantly after only one or two big performances.

The L40 scores below offer a longer-term view, using a much larger sample of matches. There are still plenty of familiar names, but the rankings also reward players who have consistently produced strong all-around numbers over an extended period.

The longer-term rankings reinforce just how strong Barcelona’s leading players have been. Lamine Yamal remains well clear at the top, while Raphinha is second and Pedri also makes the top four.

Iñigo Vicente is the obvious outsider amongst those names. His L40 score of 68 is largely related to what he managed to do in the Segunda Division. It remains to be seen whether the 28-year-old can deliver the goods on such a consistent basis in a stronger league, but the early signs are promising.

Real Madrid are also heavily represented. Federico Valverde actually climbs above Mbappe and Bellingham when the sample is expanded to 40 matches. New signing Yan Diomande also makes the top 10, mostly because of his strong 2025/26 Bundesliga form for RB Leipzig.

There are also some notable new names from elsewhere. Alejandro Grimaldo and Cristian Romero are both now at Atletico Madrid following summer transfers, while Aissa Mandi’s excellent longer-term numbers at Lille earn the now-Levante defender a place in the top 10.
