Washington: America's federal investigation agency FBI has included Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar in its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The agency announced a reward of up to US $ 1 million for information leading to his arrest. The FBI had announced the inclusion of Brar in the list on September 28. He is the 543rd fugitive to be included in this list.
Alleged connection with Lawrence Bishnoi gang
According to the FBI, Brar is being sought for his alleged association with the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group. The agency alleges that the group has been involved in various violent activities in the US and Canada besides Southern California.
The FBI has described Brar as armed and dangerous and has expressed fear of him fleeing the country. According to the agency, he is living in America and is the alleged leader of this gang in North America.
Many allegations including murder, kidnapping and extortion
According to the US investigative agency, Brar is accused of alleged involvement in activities like targeted killing of political and religious leaders, firing, attempt to murder, kidnapping, extortion, assault and drug and arms trafficking.
In a US federal court, charges have been filed against him under the RICO Act for criminal conspiracy, conspiracy to influence business through extortion and conspiracy to influence business through extortion, and conspiracy to smuggle narcotics and possess them with intent to traffic.
FBI and Canadian agencies are searching together
US First Assistant US Attorney Bill Asley said Brar's inclusion in the FBI's top-10 fugitive list reflects the government's stance of taking action against international criminal gangs. He said the US would continue to search for Brar in collaboration with law enforcement agencies in Canada, Europe and Asia.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Deputy Commissioner Lisa Moreland also accused Brar and his network of activities such as murder, shootings, death threats, extortion, arson and drug trafficking.
Name revealed after Operation Hardball
Goldie Brar is among the fugitive accused identified during 'Operation Hardball', the US federal investigation against international organized crime groups operating from India.
According to the FBI, on July 7, 2026, US authorities made public three chargesheets under Operation Hardball, naming 37 accused linked to three India-based transnational organized crime groups. FBI said that some other accused including Brar are still absconding in this case.
FBI warned people
The FBI has asked people to avoid direct contact or any kind of conversation with Brar. According to the agency, people having information about him can give information to the FBI or law enforcement agencies and the option to keep the information secret is also available.
