India is an important partner for economic strength and stable trade relations: Poland Minister!

Poland wants the trade relations between India and the European Union (EU) to become stronger. Poland sees India as a major economic power in the world and an important partner for building long-term stable business relationships. Poland's Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domanski said this in an exclusive interview given to IANS on the sidelines of the G20 Trade Ministers' meeting.

While talking about relations with India, Domanski specifically mentioned the country's rapid economic growth and democratic system. He said that we see India as a global leader. We consider India a country of very ambitious people, just like the people of Poland.

Domanski said that we see India as a democratic country, which is very important for us. We want to build stable economic relations with India. In today's world, trust and stability in economic relationships have become more important than ever, because sometimes decisions change very quickly.

“We know we live in a world where decisions change frequently. We want to do things differently. We want to build strong and stable trading relationships with partners like India,” he said.

When asked about India's role in the discussions among G20 countries, Domansky mentioned India's large economy and fast GDP growth. He said, “India is a leader. India is not only one of the largest economies in the world, but its GDP growth is also very fast.”

The Polish minister also linked the democratic system to business relations. He said that I believe that it is easier to do business with democratic countries. It is also often easier to do business with democratic countries.

He told about Poland's big vision regarding relations between India and Europe. Domanski said that I have full hope that Poland, the European Union and India will become even closer trading allies and partners than they are today.

Domanski said that relations between India and Poland are improving, but there is still a lot of scope to increase trade between the two countries. There is great potential to improve bilateral trade relations between our countries. We are happy that success has been achieved in reaching consensus at the level of India and EU. But after this it is the responsibility of every member country to increase cooperation and trade.
