Amazon Flipkart Sale 2026: Amazon sale will start from October 8, Flipkart sale from October 9; Know where and how you will get more discount?

Business Desk- Amazon Flipkart Sale 2026: As soon as the festive season starts, the wait for the big sale of Amazon and Flipkart starts. This time Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 will start from 8th October and Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026 will start from 9th October

Discounts will be available on many products including mobile, TV, laptop, electronics. Apart from this, there will also be an opportunity for additional savings by paying through Credit Card and Debit Card. However, the same offer will not be available on every card.

Which cards are more beneficial on Flipkart?

Up to 10% instant discount will be available on select cards of Axis Bank and ICICI Bank in Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026. “Up to 10%” here does not mean that every purchase will receive the full 10% discount. Maximum offer limit and other terms and conditions will apply.

Customers having Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card will also get 10% Instant Offer. Apart from this, you can get additional benefit of 10% during the sale on super.money service related to Flipkart. However, this cashback will be applicable only on the first transaction of the user. That means 10% cashback will not be available on every purchase.

SBI Card holders benefit in Amazon Sale

There is an offer of 10% Instant Discount on purchases made through SBI Debit and Credit Cards in Amazon Great Indian Festival. This also includes EMI Shopping. Under certain conditions, 35% cashback is also being offered, but its maximum limit is only Rs 150.

Therefore, before making a purchase after seeing 35% cashback, please check its maximum limit of Rs. For example, if the cashback limit is Rs 150, then even on big purchases you will not get more than Rs 150 cashback.

There is also an offer of 10% cashback on eligible purchases on Amazon Pay Later. At the same time, those purchasing through Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card will get 5% Unlimited Cashback. Unlimited here does not mean any separate maximum limit on total Cashback earnings, however other card terms and conditions will remain applicable.

Don’t buy immediately after seeing 10% discount

The biggest confusion in festive sale is regarding “Up to 10% Instant Discount”. Suppose the maximum limit of an offer is Rs 1,500. In such a situation, there will be no discount of Rs 5,000 at the rate of 10% on a purchase of Rs 50,000. The maximum savings will be Rs 1,500 only. Therefore, before checkout, definitely check the discount cap i.e. the maximum discount limit.

Not every offer will be available on Corporate Card

Not every credit card is eligible for the offer. Banks sometimes exclude corporate cards from promotional offers. The rules for Regular Card Payment and EMI Transaction may also be different.

Therefore, do not make purchases just by looking at the name of the card. Make sure to check Eligible Cards, Minimum Transaction, Maximum Discount and Offer Terms on the Checkout Page.

Also see the rules of Credit Card Rewards

There have been changes in the rewards and benefits of many credit cards in 2026. Reward limit has been reduced in some cards, some expenses have been excluded from Rewards and in some, minimum spend condition has been added for Lounge Access.

So choosing the right card in the Festive Sale is not just about seeing the biggest cashback. It is important to look at the discount limit, card eligibility and the amount of your purchase together.

Check these 5 things before purchasing

Before making payment in the festive sale, check how much instant discount will be available, what is the maximum discount, whether your card is eligible or not, what are the rules of EMI and Normal Payment and when and on what conditions the cashback will be available.

You can get additional savings by paying by card during Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Days, but its terms and conditions are more important than the big percentage written on the banner. It would be better to make payment only after checking these.
