The story of this entertaining series revolves around a very calm natured software engineer Chandar, whose main dream is to write books and open his own café. It is during his corporate job that he meets a carefree, independent and free-spirited divorce lawyer named Sudha. When the two meet for an arranged marriage under parental pressure, they make a unique pact to 'casually date' each other to escape family constraints and pressure. However, with time, things take a turn such that they end up in a live-in relationship, where they try to balance their growing love and completely different career ambitions. Interesting twist in the story and the real twist in the story comes when Sudha flatly refuses to make any kind of compromise with her freedom and career or get tied into the bonds of marriage, due to which both of them separate with mutual consent. After this, Chandar leaves the blind race of the corporate world and goes to the beautiful valleys of Uttarakhand i.e. the hills of Mussoorie. There he starts a café with his business partner Preeti and a new relationship begins to blossom between the two.
