In a program organized at Gurjar Bhawan in Saharanpur, Nand Kishore Gurjar mentioned the claim of Kairana MP Iqra Hasan calling herself a Gurjar. He said that if Iqra Hasan is a Gurjar then she should marry a Hindu Gurjar youth, the society will help her in her marriage.
Tezzbuzz Desk– BJP MLA from Loni Nand Kishore Gurjar is once again in controversy regarding his statement. During a program organized at Gurjar Bhawan in Saharanpur, he commented on SP MP from Kairana Iqra Hasan's claim of being a Gurjar. He said that if Iqra Hasan considers herself a Gurjar then she should marry a Hindu Gurjar youth.
Speaking in the program, Nand Kishore Gurjar said that the people of Gurjar community have told Kairana MP Iqra Hasan to remain Gurjar. He said that Iqra Hasan also calls herself a Gurjar. Referring to the Lok Sabha elections, the MLA alleged that some Muslims who had become Gurjars did not even give a single vote to Pradeep Chaudhary.
Nand Kishore Gurjar further said that if Iqra Hasan is a Gurjar then the society will accept her as the daughter of the family. After this he said that Iqra Hasan should marry a Hindu boy. The MLA said that there are leaders, IAS, doctors, engineers and PCS officers in the Hindu Gurjar community.
According to the MLA, if Iqra Hasan takes initiative in this direction and wants to marry a Hindu Gurjar youth of her choice, then the society will help her in getting married. She said that the society is ready for her to marry a boy of her choice. Nand Kishore Gurjar did not call his statement a political statement.
Nand Kishore Gurjar has been in the headlines for his statements before also. In September last year, one of his videos went viral on social media. In the video, he had said that the person who sings 'Vande Mataram' and raises slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' or 'Har Har Mahadev' is a good person. He had also said that he would straighten out those who commit fraud or evil acts here.
At the same time, a few days ago, three BJP leaders in Loni had lodged a complaint against Nand Kishore Gurjar with the Police Commissioner. In the complaint, the MLA was accused of murderous attack, threatening to kill, abusing and vandalizing vehicles.
The three leaders who complained had claimed that Nand Kishore Gurjar wants to show himself as the 'emperor' of Loni and tries to humiliate the community members.
