Actually, IOCL has announced vacancies by issuing an official notification for the appointment of eligible candidates for a total of 335 posts of Technician, Graduate and Trade Apprentice (Technical and Non-Technical) for a period of one year at locations located in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Daman and Diu Union Territory, Dadra and Nagar Haveli Union Territory.
Among the 335 vacancies released by IOCL in Maharashtra, there are 33 posts of Technician, 8 posts of Trade/ITI, 100 posts of Graduate and 8 posts of Skill along with DEO Fresher; 17 posts of Technician, 8 posts of Trade/ITI, 29 posts of Graduate and 3 posts of Skill with DEO Fresher in Gujarat; 17 posts of Technician, 8 posts of Trade/ITI, 29 posts of Graduate and 3 posts of Skill along with DEO Fresher in Madhya Pradesh; 8 posts of Technician, 4 of Trade/ITI, 4 of Graduate and 2 of Skill with DEO Fresher in Goa; 8 posts of Technician, 4 of Trade/ITI, 4 of Graduate and 2 posts of Skill with DEO Fresher in Chhattisgarh; 8 posts of Technician, 4 of Trade/ITI, 4 of Graduate and 2 posts of Skill with DEO Fresher in Dadra and Nagar Haveli; Daman & Diu includes 8 posts of Technician, 4 of Trade/ITI, 4 of Graduate and 2 posts of Skilled along with DEO Fresher.
The application process for a total of 335 apprentice posts has started through online mode from 10 am on October 5 and the last date to apply is till November 4. In such a situation, candidates willing to fill the application form should first register themselves on NAPS portal for Trade Apprentice – ITI/Data Entry Operator and on NATS portal for Technician Apprentice – Diploma and Graduate Apprentice. After this, go to the official website of IOCL and complete your registration process successfully on or before 5 pm on the last date.
Candidates applying should have 3 years regular full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline for Technician Apprentice from a recognized Board/Institute/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate; Regular full-time 2-year ITI course and Matriculation from NCVT/SCVT recognized in relevant trade for Trade Apprentice; Trade Apprentice – 12th class pass with at least 50 per cent marks for Data Entry Operator (Fresher); Trade Apprentice – For Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate holder) 12th class passed with skill certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ (less than 1 year training); And for Graduate Apprentice, regular full-time graduate in any discipline (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA, etc.) with at least 50% marks.
The minimum age of the applicants has been fixed at 18 and maximum age at 24 years, which will be calculated as on 30 September 2026. At the same time, candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on scrutiny of applications, shortlisting, document verification and medical examination, after which stipend will be given to the selected candidates as per the rules of IOCL.
