New Delhi. The month of October is very important for people taking pension. Every year, to continue the pension, the beneficiaries have to submit their life certificate i.e. Jeevan Pramaan. Through this, it is confirmed that the pensioner is alive and pension can be paid to him in future also.

Opportunity for those aged 80 years and above in October

According to the current system, pensioners aged 80 years or above can submit their life proof from October 1. Whereas for pensioners below 80 years of age, this process usually starts from November 1. The usual last date for all eligible pensioners is 30th November.

Digital life certificate can be made even sitting at home

Now it has become easier for pensioners to submit life certificate than before. Jeevan Pramaan is an Aadhaar based digital facility, through which eligible pensioners can get their digital life certificate made. This facility is available in many CSC centres, bank branches and government offices. The process can also be completed through mobile app if necessary device and authentication facility is available. Fingerprint, iris or face authentication can be used in this.

Keep this information ready in advance

Before getting Jeevan Pramaan made, the pensioner should keep the information related to Aadhaar number, mobile number, PPO number, pension account and pension paying bank with him. If the information given in the application does not match with the records, there may be a problem in the digital certificate.
