Uttar Pradesh has released ₹460.23 crore to pay the increased honorarium of 1,27,841 Shiksha Mitras working under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan for the 2026-27 session. Their monthly honorarium has been raised from ₹10,000 to ₹18,000.
The funds cover two months, with ₹230.11 crore each for September and October, allocated district-wise. Districts have been told to complete payments as per the allocations.
