Team India bowling first in Lucknow, Vaibhav Suryavanshi out; Naman Dheer's T20I debut

The first match of the 5-match T20 series between India and West Indies is in Lucknow. In this match being played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Indian captain Shreyas Iyer has won the toss and decided to bowl first. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been dropped from the playing XI. Whereas Naman Dheer has been given a chance to debut. This Punjab player also recently made his ODI debut against West Indies.

These changes took place in the bowling department

The Indian team has also excluded Ravi Bishnoi. Bishnoi was seen struggling in the Asian Games. Prince Yadav is also not playing. Mayank Yadav has got a chance. Arshdeep Singh will lead the pace bowling unit. Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are responsible for the spin department. Akshar-Kuldeep will get the support of Naman Dheer, who bowls part-time off spin.

West Indies team has given a chance to debut to Kamil Puran. 30-year-old right-handed batsman Kamil Puran has been rewarded for his explosive performance in the Caribbean Premier League. Apart from this there is no change in the batting order. West Indies has played 3 fast bowlers. Romario Shepherd is the fourth option for fast bowling. Akil Hussain and Roston Chase are two spin bowlers.
