Chasing 172, the Men in Blue reached the target in 14.1 overs, with Shreyas Iyer scoring an unbeaten 102 runs off 43 balls, laced with 10 fours and 46 sixes. He recorded a strike rate of 237.20 on Tuesday (October 6). India captain added over 100 runs for the third-wicket partnership with Ishan Kishan, who posted 37 off 27 balls, including 5 boundaries.
Earlier, the West Indies were dismissed for 171 in 19.1 overs, with Shai Hope (52 off 37) and Sherfane Rutherford (56 off 34) leading the batting charts.
Debutant Naman Dhir took three wickets while Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each.
