New initiative to help animals
Jamnagar: Anant Ambani has launched a new initiative called 'Champions of Care' to help animals across the country. More than 50 animal welfare organizations are involved in this campaign. It is estimated that approximately 20 lakh animals will be provided medical, rescue, shelter, food and other essential assistance every year through this initiative.
This includes street dogs and cats, injured or abandoned animals, as well as cattle, donkeys and horses. As per requirement, assistance such as ambulances, rescue equipment, medical and testing machines, shelter and training will be provided to animal welfare organizations.
Anant Ambani said that every day many people take care of needy animals despite limited resources. Through 'Champions of Care' we want to further strengthen this work by standing with them. This is the real meaning of 'Every Life Matters' for us.
Vantara and the organizations associated with this campaign have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together. Under this, they will exchange information, experience and resources, so that organizations helping animals can get better support according to their needs.
