Tezzbuzz Desk– Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Sabha organized in Delhi on the occasion of completion of 25 years in power. Expressing his gratitude for the continuous support of the public, he said that in the last 25 years, the public has given him the opportunity to serve through Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. PM Modi also reiterated his resolve to achieve the goal of developed India by 2047.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that while taking oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, he had never imagined that one day he would complete 25 years of continuous service as the head of the government. He described it as the result of the continuous blessings of the public and expressed his gratitude to the countrymen, BJP, NDA and all the political allies who believe in democracy. PM Modi said that many elections were held during 25 years. Be it assembly elections or Lok Sabha elections, the public elected him for his service. He expressed respect for India's democracy and Constitution and also congratulated the citizens participating in the Seva Jyoti Yatra.
PM Modi said that the country has given him a lot, hence his responsibility towards the country is also the highest. He said that 25 years of public trust and experience is a big asset and it is not only his but the entire country's capital. Recalling his childhood, he said that while studying in school in Vadnagar, he had a passion for learning and even today he considers himself a student. The PM said that the people who supported him in life gave him the strength of faith, while opposition and criticism taught him democracy and introspection.
PM Modi said that every crisis tested his patience and every success increased his responsibility. He reiterated his resolve to move forward towards bigger goals and stressed on the goal of making the country a developed India by 2047.
Earlier, BJP National President Nitin Nabin mentioned the work done for women under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Referring to initiatives like toilet construction and Ujjwala scheme, he said that many steps have been taken for the safety, dignity and respect of women. He also mentioned the 16 crore Lakhpati Didis and appreciated the work done towards women empowerment.
