Prepare curd-cucumber base

First of all, take fresh and thick curd in a plate or bowl. Add grated cucumber into it. Now add rock salt and roasted cumin powder as per taste and mix well. This cold and fresh base of curd and cucumber gives a different taste to the chaat.

Cook boiled potatoes with spices

Now heat some ghee in a pan. Add cumin and finely chopped green chillies and crackle lightly. After this, cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces and put them in the pan. Add rock salt and some roasted cumin powder on top and mix well.

Make potatoes crispy

Bake the potatoes on medium flame for some time. Keep stirring them occasionally, so that the potatoes become nicely golden and crispy from all sides. When a light golden and crispy layer appears on the potatoes, turn off the gas and let the potatoes cool down a bit.

Now prepare spicy chaat

Now add crispy potatoes over the prepared curd-cucumber base. The combination of cold curd and hot spicy potatoes makes this chaat even more delicious. Top it with roasted peanuts, which will give a nice crunch to the chaat.

Garnish with green coriander
