The makers shared the poster on social media and wrote, “Once upon a time he brought alive the character of Ram for an entire generation. Now he returns to the world of Ramayanam as the king of Ayodhya.”

In the poster, Arun Govil is seen in a royal look as King Dasharatha. An attempt has been made to depict the dignity and influence of the king of Ayodhya in his attire and look. This look is special because the audience has seen him as Lord Ram for a long time and now he will be seen playing the role of the father of the same character.

In 'Ramayanam', Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the roles of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi Sita, Yash Ravana, Sunny Deol Hanuman and Ravi Dubey Laxman.

The film is directed by Nitish Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations. This epic will be released in two parts, the first part will be released on 05 November 2026 and the second part in Diwali 2027. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages ​​and will also be shown in IMAX format.
