The weather is not expected to remain completely clear in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, and rain and thunderstorm may continue at many places.

Similar weather is likely to prevail in NCR's Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

There may be a change in the weather in Haryana on October 8. There is a possibility of cloud cover along with thunderstorms and strong winds in many parts of the state. IMD has issued a warning of thunderstorm and lightning for Haryana. The weather is likely to be most active on Thursday. Local change in weather may be seen in Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat and Yamunanagar districts of Haryana.

Between October 7 and 9, strong wind gusts up to 40-50 kilometers per hour will occur in Himachal, while in some situations the speed of gusts can reach up to 60 kilometers per hour. There is no specific warning for the state from October 10. It will be necessary to keep an eye on the weather in Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kinnaur, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Una districts of Himachal Pradesh.

The weather is going to be more active in Uttarakhand on 8th and 9th October. IMD has warned of heavy rain, thunder and strong winds for both these days. There may also be impact of rain and thundershowers in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Western Uttar Pradesh on October 8, while the weather may change in some areas in Eastern Uttar Pradesh also. There is no special warning in Rajasthan on October 8.

The weather will also be active in the central, eastern and southern parts of the country. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in East Madhya Pradesh on October 8, while Chhattisgarh may be affected by rain and storm. There is a warning of thunderstorms with heavy rain in West Bengal and Sikkim on October 8. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds in Andhra Pradesh on 8 and 9 October. Rain and thunderstorms may continue in some parts of South India also.
