Vrindavan: The ashram of Sant Premanand Maharaj located in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh has been in the news for the last few days. Recently, after some family members who came in search of their children staged a protest outside the ashram, the ashram management has demanded special steps from the administration regarding security arrangements. The Ashram says that such incidents are affecting the peace and regular activities there. A letter has been sent to the Area Officer (CO) of Vrindavan on behalf of Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Trust. In this letter, a demand has been made to deploy adequate police force outside the ashram.
The Trust says that for the last few days, some people have been gathering and protesting outside the Ashram in the name of searching for their relatives. The Ashram alleges that during this time, indecent behavior and allegations without facts are being made, due to which the atmosphere is being affected.
Impact on the ashram's image and peace
The letter sent by the Trust has the signature of Trustee Saloni Sharan. It has been said in the letter that the continuous incidents are having a negative impact on the image of the ashram. Besides, a feeling of insecurity may also arise among the seekers and devotees. The Ashram management believes that the administration should take necessary steps to maintain peace and avoid any untoward situation.
It is noteworthy that this matter has come into more discussion after the death of Deepak, a seeker of the Ashram, under suspicious circumstances. Many questions are being raised regarding this and demands for investigation are also being made from various parties.
Demand for kidney test of Premanand Maharaj also raised
Meanwhile, President of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust and Mata Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj have also written a letter to the District Magistrate demanding an impartial investigation into the entire matter. He has asked for a government medical examination of Premanand Maharaj's kidney related health condition and making its report public. Ashutosh Brahmachari says that if public claims are being made about any disease, then its truth should come out through a government investigation.
