Tezzbuzz Desk- The protest by INDIA Block demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar continued for the third day on Thursday. The opposition MPs decided to go to Rajghat, continuing their protest against the Election Commission. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, MPs have left for Rajghat.
Earlier, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge hosted a lunch for INDIA block MPs. After lunch, opposition MPs including Rahul Gandhi boarded buses and left for Rajghat.
In view of the demonstration, Delhi Police has made strict security arrangements. Security arrangements have been increased on the roads leading to Rajghat. Congress workers are also present in large numbers in the demonstration. INDIA block MPs are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Questions are constantly being raised by the opposition parties regarding the functioning of the Election Commission and the electoral process. Protests have been going on for the last three days regarding this issue.
