Mumbai, Oct 8:
All 163 matches of the 2026-27 Indian Super League season will be available live and free on YouTube after the league announced the video platform as its digital streaming partner.
The move is aimed at expanding the reach of Indian football and removing a subscription barrier for viewers. The ISL said making every match available free of charge on YouTube would allow fans across the country to follow the competition through a widely accessible digital platform.
The 2026-27 season will feature 13 teams. The first phase will consist of 78 matches and will run from October 10 to January 17. The league has adopted a weekend-focused schedule for the opening phase, with 53 of the 78 matches scheduled to be played on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
The new season will also take the ISL to new venues and rivalries. It will feature the competition’s first-ever Goa Derby between Churchill Brothers and FC Goa, adding another major local contest to the league calendar.
The ISL will also make its entry into Imphal, with NorthEast United FC scheduled to face Sporting Club Delhi at the Khuman Lampak Stadium on November 24. The availability of all matches on YouTube is expected to give supporters easier access to the competition as the league seeks to broaden its digital audience.
