Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has invited opposition MPs for lunch for the second consecutive day at Moets restaurant in Connaught Place, the heart of Delhi. During this, members of both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha houses of the INDIA alliance were called. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi sat together with opposition MPs and had lunch in the restaurant.
Calling MPs for lunch very close to the Election Commission for the second consecutive day is part of the strategy of the India alliance. In fact, since Tuesday, Congress and opposition leaders have been trying to reach the Election Commission but Delhi Police and Central Forces are stopping them from going. In this connection, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka and Akhilesh Yadav have also been taken into custody.
