This season has not been easy for Shubhankar. His performance has not been up to par as he has not been able to make the cut in many competitions. Changes in equipment, including new shafts in the clubs, took him longer to adjust. Still, his rhythm isn't completely broken. At the 'Omega European Masters' held in September, Shubhankar shot a superb 6-under 64 in the first round. Playing bogey-free, he resembled a former mascot in his rapid climb up the DP World Tour rankings. His form dipped a bit over the weekend, but the first 18 holes were enough to show that he still has potential.
