Weather Update: Due to cyclonic circulation formed in the upper atmosphere around Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and active trough in different areas, changes are being seen in the weather once again. There is a situation of rain, strong winds and lightning in many states.
Alert for 29 districts in Chhattisgarh
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the impact of western disturbance, an alert of storm and rain has been issued in 29 districts of Chhattisgarh. During this period the wind speed can reach 60 kilometers per hour. Information has come to light about the death of three people due to lightning in Bilaspur.
Weather worsens again in UP amid floods
The weather has taken a turn again amid the already flood situation in Uttar Pradesh. It has been raining intermittently since morning in five cities including Lucknow, Barabanki, Sitapur and Sultanpur. Hail is also reported to have fallen during the rain in Farrukhabad. Rain alert has been issued in 42 districts of the state today.
Gomti’s water level rising even on the 10th day
The water level of Gomti river in Lucknow is rising for the 10th consecutive day. There is waterlogging around the river and around Plasio Mall is also flooded. The situation remains challenging for the administration amid floods and rains.
Snowfall in Chamoli, Hemkund Sahib covered
