Bajwa attacks Mann government on CBI action

Amritsar. Political activities have intensified in Punjab. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa targeted the government over the CBE action against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD Rajbir Ghuman and the Indi alliance’s protest against the Election Commission. At the same time, Congress leaders claimed the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections and the increasing enthusiasm in the organization.

On the question of CBI registering an FIR against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD Rajbir Ghuman, Pratap Singh Bajwa said that after the CBI raid in the Chief Minister’s camp office and the issuance of warrant against the OSD, now the same thing is coming to light, which Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have often been saying. He said that when an external investigating agency takes action, if the person is honest, he should face investigation and the truth will come out.

Bajwa alleged that now that the investigation has reached those close to the Chief Minister, his OSD is not being traced. He claimed that Rajbir Ghuman is missing and many people associated with him have been arrested. He said that the government should clarify the situation regarding the action of the investigating agencies.

Meanwhile, on the Indi alliance’s protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Bajwa said that the Congress is unitedly fighting against vote theft in the elections. He said that the only political alternative to Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab is Congress.

Bajwa said that the Congress leadership is continuously agitating on this issue and Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are leading this fight for the third consecutive day. He alleged that if crores of votes are removed, it amounts to depriving the voter of his fundamental right and is against the Constitution.

Meanwhile, former IPS officer and Congress leader Gurinder Singh Dhillon claimed enthusiasm among party workers regarding Sachin Pilot’s visit to Punjab. He said that the public has come to know the truth of the opposition and now people are coming with the Congress.

He also talked about issues like the internal situation of Punjab Congress, law and order and action against gangsters operating from abroad.

Congress leader Raj Kumar Verka said that Punjab Congress President Pargat Singh and Sachin Pilot have reached Amritsar. He said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the party workers. Congress leaders will leave for Chandigarh after paying obeisance at the Golden Temple and Durgiana Temple.
