500 bundles of ganja ready, waiting for customer, then Khaki arrived, woman arrested with 5.043 kg drug

New Delhi: Tightening the noose on the drug trade, the special staff team of Dwarka District Police has arrested a habitual female ganja smuggler and recovered 5.043 kg of high quality ganja from her possession. According to the police, the accused woman had prepared about 500 small bundles of ganja for sale. Rs 3,600 in cash, said to be earned from the sale of drugs, and a mobile phone were also recovered from him.

Special staff team raided Nangli

This was done under the direction of Dwarka District DCP Kushal Pal Singh and the guidance of Assistant Police Commissioner (Operations) Subhash Malik. Under the leadership of Special Staff In-charge Inspector Kamlesh Kumar, the team of Sub Inspector Dinesh Kumar, Sub Inspector Topish, Assistant Sub Inspector Vijay Singh, Head Constable Jairam, Head Constable Jagat Singh, Head Constable Naresh, Head Constable Rajesh, Lady Head Constable Geeta and Constable Ravi developed the information and raided Nangli Sakrawati in Nangli Vihar Extension village.

Case registered against habitual criminal Veena

33-year-old Veena was caught from the spot. According to the police, he is a listed criminal of Najafgarh police station and 10 cases are already registered against him under the Narcotics and Excise Act. During interrogation, he allegedly told that he was first involved in illegal liquor trade and later in the sale of ganja. Even in the year 2024, she was arrested in the NDPS case. In this matter, case number 448/26 has been registered in Najafgarh police station under sections 8/20/25 of the Narcotic Drugs Act and investigation has been started. The police are now busy searching for the source of supply of ganja and other people associated with the entire network.
