The bench took cognizance of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta's assurance that he would urge the authorities to reconsider the decision of complete ban and allow metro trains and other rail services to run with proper regulation. he said, In view of this assurance, we clarify that there will be no complete ban on the movement of metro trains.

the bench said, We direct that the deliberate decision taken by the authorities regarding the proper control of movement of metro trains and other rail services should be given wide publicity., So that inconvenience to common people is minimized.

The court said that similar advertisements should be issued regarding traffic movement in Delhi. The bench said the decision to erect barricades on roads should also be reconsidered and alternative routes should be widely publicized.
