Sambhajinagar. After Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijit Deepke was detained at Delhi Airport, his parents have expressed their anger against the government. His father Bhagwan Deepke questioned this action and alleged that an attempt was being made to suppress those who raised their voice to protect democracy. He claimed that democracy is no longer safe in the country and the government wants to move in the direction of 'One Nation, One Party' by eliminating other political parties.
Describing Abhijeet's detention as extraordinary, Bhagwan Deepke said that a student who was trying to save democracy was arrested from inside the plane. He raised the question that before this he had not seen such action in the cases of big criminals and industrialists taking Indian money abroad, but an ordinary student who raised his voice for democracy was taken into custody.
There was already a possibility of arrest, Abhijeet had told his father
When asked about the fear of Abhijeet's arrest, Bhagwan Deepke said that his son had told him while leaving the house that he could be arrested. He said that in the current situation, he will decide what further steps to take after seeing the treatment meted out to Abhijeet.
On comparison of Indira Gandhi's reign and the current political situation, he said that he did not have detailed information about the Emergency. However, he expressed concern over the current circumstances and raised questions about the state of democracy.
Allegations were also made against Gyanesh Kumar
On the question asked about Gyanesh Kumar, Bhagwan Deepke alleged that he was already brought for a specific action. Referring to the law related to the suspension of MPs in Parliament and the powers of the President, he claimed that these developments were part of a pre-planned plan. Bhagwan Deepke alleged that the attitude of the government is not good towards the opposition parties and those who raise their voice to protect democracy. However, these allegations are his own claims.
'Sent off my son crying', mother Anita's pain expressed
Abhijeet's mother Anita Deepke also expressed her displeasure towards the government when she was detained. Talking to news agency IANS, he said that the government did not do good to his son. They allege that the youth working for the country are being arrested, while no action is taken against those who commit crimes.
Anita Deepke told that she was already afraid that her son might be arrested. While leaving the house, he had also warned Abhijeet about this possibility. However, Abhijeet had assured them that nothing like this would happen. The mother became emotional and told that she had bid farewell to her son crying while leaving. On this, Abhijeet explained to him that do not cry, whatever happens will be for good.
Abhijeet's parents are unhappy with the government's attitude
Anita Deepke said that she is not liking the current situation. According to him, the government has done wrong to his son and the action of his detention has hurt him deeply. At the same time, Bhagwan Deepke said that he will decide the future strategy only after seeing the treatment meted out to Abhijeet.
