One of the most eagerly awaited whiskeys globally, 'Indri Diwali Collector's Edition 2026' made its international debut in London, marking the next chapter in Indri's renowned annual 'Collector's Edition' series. This version was then presented at 'The Whiskey Show' in London. There it received great acclaim and recognition from distinguished whiskey journalists, critics, connoisseurs, collectors and industry experts. This cements Indri's position among the world's most talked about and acclaimed single malts.
The fourth edition of Indri's annual festival series
Converging India's rich cultural heritage and the art of contemporary Indian whiskey making, 'Diwali Collector's Edition 2026' perfectly combines the spirit of Diwali with the depth, distinctive character and wine-like elegance of a single malt matured in a 'Ruby Port Cask'. This is the fourth edition of the annual festival series of 'Indri'. This limited edition is bottled with 50% ABV (alcohol content), with only 600 individually numbered bottles available for the Indian market.
Create a characteristic taste
Made from six-row barley and distilled in traditional copper pot stills, this whiskey is matured in specially selected Ruby Port wine casks from Portugal in the subtropical climate of northern India. Here the richness of Indian single malts and the different layers of fruit in the finest 'fortified wines' combine to create a distinctive flavor with depth, complexity and elegance.

As a result, rich aromas of black cherries, wild berries and ripe plums (Alu-Bukhara) waft through the opening; Then silky flavors of honeyed fruits, roasted nuts, toffee, vanilla and fig linger on the tongue. Inspired by Indian miniature art and royal heritage, the design combines 'jewel tones' (shades of jewel-encrusted colours), delicate floral embroidery and craftsmanship around the Marwari horse and its colt; which are symbols of nobility, lineage and continuity.

The 2023 edition marked a turning point, when Indri's 'Diwali Collector's Edition' was recognized as the “World's Best Whisky” at the 'Whiskeys of the World Awards 2023'; This put Indian single malt whiskey on the global whiskey map.

'Indri Diwali Collectors Edition 2026' continues the legacy of its acclaimed predecessors and is making a distinct and bold mark in the global spirits space even before its official launch in India. The whiskey achieved double gold with 96 points in the USA Spirits Ratings 2026, where it was also awarded 'Indian Single Malt Whiskey of the Year' and 'Spirit of the Year – India'.
In addition, she has bagged Gold at World Whiskey Masters 2026 and New York World Spirits Competition 2026, as well as Gold at the Asia World Spirits Competition 2026 in Singapore. The 'Indri Diwali Collectors Edition 2026 Ruby Port Cask' will be available in India from mid-October. This 700ml bottle is 50% ABV and its availability in the domestic market will be limited to only 600 individually numbered bottles in the cities of Gurugram, Chandigarh and Bengaluru. For international travelers, the international version with 58.5% ABV will be available at select 'Duty-Free' shops in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru as well as 'Dubai Duty Free'.
