West Indies captain Shay Hope's bat is on fire on India tour. Hope has created history with his explosive batting in the last six days. Shay Hope was the second highest run-scorer after Shubman Gill in the ODI series against India with 278 runs. Now he has continued his excellent form in the T20 series as well. In the first two matches of the five-match T20 series, he has scored 154 runs with a half-century and a century.

Shay Hope created a new history
West Indies captain Shai Hope has now become the first cricketer in the world to score 150 runs in ODIs and 100 or more runs in T20Is within six days of international cricket. Earlier this record was held by New Zealand female cricketer Amelia Kerr. Kerr had scored more than 150 runs in ODIs in seven days and a century in T20Is against South Africa.
Former India captain Rohit Sharma has already achieved this feat in men's cricket, but Hope's performance has moved him to third place on the list. Rohit has achieved this feat thrice in his career. However, he has completed 150 runs in ODIs and 100 runs in T20Is in a span of eight-nine days.
