CJP Protest: In the capital Delhi SIR The atmosphere has heated up due to the agitation against the process. Chief Election Commissioner Dyanesh Kumar demanding his resignation and cancellation of the SIR process Cockroach Janata Party(CJP) had called for agitation on Jantar-Mantar. However, before the agitation, it has come to light that party founder Abhijit Deepke along with other office bearers were detained by the Delhi Police from the plane itself.

The CJP's agitation is reportedly getting support from student unions, Gen-Zi and activists from opposition parties. In this background, it is reported that a large number of police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in Delhi.

Along with Abhijit Deepke, organizers Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka are also said to have been detained after the plane landed at the IGI airport. Meanwhile, many people including Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee and Dhruv Rathi have been detained in related reports. Tushar Gandhi has also been detained by the police in Mumbai. There have also been reports of more than 1,700 protesters being detained by the Delhi Police.

Deepak's video message already

Abhijeet Deepke had recorded the video message on Friday night itself, keeping in mind the possibility of him being detained by the police. The video was released by the CJP after his arrest.

In this video, Abhijit Deepke has appealed to the protesters to be united. He said that even if he and other officials are detained, the agitation will not stop and he has said that the leadership of the agitation on Jantar-Mantar has been handed over to Ajinkya Shinde. Also, he appealed to continue the demand for resignation of Dyanesh Kumar in any situation.

Alleged 'undeclared emergency'

Meanwhile, the Bombay Lawyers Association has expressed displeasure over the restrictions imposed on the protests. The association has protested the manner in which restrictions are being imposed on the agitations by the government, terming it as 'undeclared emergency'.

The issue is now showing signs of getting hotter due to the action taken by the Central Government Delhi Police against the protestors. The attention of the political circle has started to see what turn this movement takes in the coming period.
