What is vitiligo?
(Health Corner) :- Vitiligo is not a disease, rather it is caused by the lack of melanin in the skin, due to which the skin color becomes white. This disease does not spread from one person to another. In this condition there is no physical problem like burning or itching, only spots are visible on the face. Due to vitiligo, a person may experience mental stress and feeling of inferiority.

Symptoms of vitiligo include the formation of small yellow spots on any part of the body, which later turn white. These spots can spread and take the form of large rashes.
causes of vitiligo
Consuming contaminated food causes accumulation of toxic elements in the body, which can cause white spots. Infestation of intestinal worms can also cause this problem. Apart from this, white spots can also be caused by many other diseases like dysentery, constipation, skin diseases, typhoid, tuberculosis (T.B.), eczema, asthma, diabetes, boils, injuries, burns and liver related diseases. Stopping the flow of urine and feces can also cause formation of white spots on the skin. Hormonal imbalance and mental stress can also give rise to this disease.
treatment measures
White spots are not a serious problem, so there is no need to be disappointed about it. With proper treatment, it can be cured quickly and its progression can be stopped. If treated timely, it may take a few months to a few years to recover.
